Cyberpunk 2077 Can You Get Johnny's Gun And Where To Find It

In Cyberpunk 2077, players quickly get a taste of Johnny Silverhand's power during early flashback sequences, leaving many wondering if his iconic sidearm can be permanently claimed. The good news is that this weapon, officially known as the Malorian Arms 3516, is indeed available to add to V's personal arsenal. Finding it requires progressing past major narrative milestones and completing a dedicated quest line in the later portion of Act 2.

How to Unlock the Mission for Johnny's Gun

To start your search for the legendary firearm, you must first progress through the main story until you unlock the Tapeworm quest line. Following the completion of Tapeworm, Rogue will reach out to offer a unique side job titled Chippin' In. Accepting this mission is mandatory, as it serves as the primary route for recovering Johnny's personal possessions.

Where to Find the Malorian Arms 3516

During the Chippin' In quest, V and Rogue track down targets that lead them onto a massive cargo vessel called the Ebunike. As you clear out enemies and reach the end of the ship, you will trigger a mini-boss encounter against an operative named Grayson. After defeating Grayson, you can claim the weapon directly from him before deciding his ultimate fate.

Weapon Features and Upgrades

The Malorian Arms 3516 stands out as one of the most stylish and high-performing Power Pistols in Night City. It features unique animations, heavy thermal impact, and a powerful flame attack when using quick melee strikes. Once acquired, you can continuously upgrade the pistol through the crafting menu to keep its stats relevant against late-game enemies.

Other Collectible Rewards During the Mission

Securing Johnny's sidearm is not the only reward you can earn while pursuing this questline. Players can also acquire his replica Samurai jacket during the same assignment. Additionally, making specific dialogue choices with Grayson grants access to the keys for Johnny's classic Porsche 911.
